Taiwanese shipping company\u00a0Wisdom Marine Lines is steaming ahead with its fleet build-up plans.<\/strong><\/p>\n To that end, the company has approved the purchase of a 82,400 dwt Nox Tier III bulk carrier from\u00a0Japan Marine United Corporation (JMU).<\/p>\n Wisdom Marine plans to assign a total of USD 34 million for the construction of the ship.<\/p>\n Japanese shipbuilders have been the preferred builders of Wisdom Marine\u2019s recent newbuildings.<\/p>\n Namely, in February this year the company invested USD 68 million in two new NOx Tier III Panamaxes, which will also be built by JMU. The order came on the back of a similar deal reached with\u00a0Imabari Shipbuilding in January. Specifically, Imabari will build two 37,800\u00a0dwt\u00a0<\/strong>bulker\u00a0newbuildings for a total of USD 49 million.<\/p>\n
